Dear anyone,
I was thinking about what if the earth had two moons. What would happen to the tides? Would they be pulled apart by the gravity of the two moons, or would there be 4 different tides. How would the hours on earth be different? I imagine that the regular day of 24 hours would reduce to 12 hours, being there are 2 moons. Humans would most likely have to adapt to the changing of the Earths routine, the shorter nights and days, getting things done such as our jobs, school time, family time. The bad thing about this theory is would this second moon being added affect the bonded gravitational force between earth and the original moon. Back to the tides, maybe thats not would I should be thinking about, I should be thinking about how it would affect how tsunamis and earthquakes potential ranges on how dangerous they can be. This second moon, what if it pulls at the planet and causes these natural disasters to be even more dangerous than they already are?
